Infra-Red Explained Videos and More ~

Black Body Explained  Visible light is a Higher Frequency or more Reflective

Infra Red or (Below RED) Radiant Wave is Lower Frequency Ejecting Electrons by Molecular Activity.

If you have watched the above Video's you understand why the AHRI 1330 Standard has not become a requirement.

3.1 Calibration Factor. The results of the calibration provided by an ISO 17025 accredited testing/calibration laboratory in the form of a calibration factor consisting of a constant (a) and offset (b). 3.2 Gross Radiant Coefficient. Heat emitted by the appliance through the radiation reference plane divided by the gross heat input of the test gas. 3.3 Infrared Factor. A performance rating factor based on the gross radiant coefficient. Refer to Table 1. 3.4 Infrared Heater. A heater which directs a substantial amount of its energy output in the form of infrared energy into the area to be heated. Such heaters may be of either the vented or unvented type. The following are types of infrared heaters. 3.4.1 High-intensity Infrared Heater. An infrared heater which has a radiating surface that typically operates at or above 732.C. 3.4.2 Low-intensity Infrared Heater. An infrared heater which has a radiating surface that typically operates at temperature less than 732.0o C.

3.4.2.1 Radiant Tube Infrared Heater. Typically, a low intensity infrared heater in which combustion takes place within a tube or conduit.

HVLS Fans Radiant Heat

gore-port-s.a.-top-shot.jpg

The Picture above is a Job that we Designed and has Proven HVLS or HVLV Fans mounted at 47' to move Air to the Floor Level and Produce an Air Column Cooling the workers. Gas High Intensity heaters around perimeter.

Year 2006 we have many jobs similar to this.

Other terms and acronyms associated with HVLS fans include:

  • LDCF: Low-speed, large-diameter ceiling fan.
  • HVLV: High-Volume, Low-Velocity.
  • LSHV: Low-Speed, High-Volume.
  • LVLS: Low-Velocity, Low-Speed.

Our Testing is in the Field !  < FB vid.

We sold some of the first  HVLS fans we studied all the factors with Engineers in the Field. Macro Air and Big Ass Fans enjoyed having these studies, we sold Big Ass Fans for 3 Years starting in1999 as the HLVS Fan Co. then we moved to the original manufacturer Macro Air in 2004 becoming their South Texas Area Rep for over 7 Years.

Our Story of Gas and Electric Infra Red Heat

Our beginnings in 1953 with Gas Infra-Red heat started at Texas Infra Red Radiant Co. Houston Tx. The Hale Family owned Texas Infra-Red Radiant Co. our first cousins. Founder of Industrial Infra-Red, Inc. Robert W. Doores was a plumber installing and selling the equipment. We sold for many Gas Manufactures. HUPP Corp., American Infra Red Radiant Co., Combustion Research,  Lambert Ind., Perfection Schwank, Gas Fired Products Spaceray , Solarflow and Enerco.

Fostoria Electric Made the Electric Heaters. Now TPI Corp.

Aitken Products, Inc. was also an original electric heater manufacturer and still is as of 2022 .

In the 70's Industrial Infra-Red, Inc. joined with Detroit Radiant Products Co. as the main product line.

Industrial Infra-Red, Inc. is currently operated by Robert Doores sons and Grandchildren.
